Recovery Support Services and The Southeast Missouri Recovery-Oriented System of Care
Mission Missouri is credentialed by the Missouri Department of Mental Health and the Division of Behavioral Health to provide Recovery Support Services as part of their core budget. Mission Missouri also serves as one of five Access Sites throughout the state, serving other faith-based and community providers with intake and voucher support as well as oversight of quality of services in the Southeast Missouri Recovery Oriented System of Care. MM Recovery Support Services such as Care Coordination, Transportation, Spiritual Life Skills, Housing, Recovery Coaching, and Group Education, Counseling to name just a few serve both outpatients as well as those in the transitional house.
Pre-treatment housing, access to treatment, and supportive services following treatment are provided along with referrals for mental health, medical, and dental services. Women completing treatment or needing a home plan after prison can stay at The Esther House as a Recovery Guest and learn how to reengage with society as a productive citizen. The program includes family engagement, job readiness, mentoring, medical and dental referrals, emotional, spiritual, and addiction counseling, recovery support groups, case management, and education groups. Additional Life Skills groups are offered for parenting, recovery, dual diagnosis, and co-dependency. Mission Missouri partners with Not by Might Recovery Support Services for follow-up, peer recovery coaching, and life management.
